Overview of the Conversation

Led by Indigenous leaders and moderated by David Cournoyer, a Twin Cities-based consultant and former TV reporter, these virtual Zoom events will be interactive sessions that examine systemic and historic issues, cultural differences and daily reporting challenges. The first session featured Dr. Anton Treuer, White Earth Ojibwe who explored the role media can play in community solutions for changing problematic racial narratives through self-reflection, listening and exchange.
